Stumbleupon’s Changes Keep User Interest in Mind

Social bookmarking site, Stumbleupon, will be going through some changes.  The new version will have an improved homepage, better review page and tag page. Additionally, the site will have upgraded web stumbling with Mass Share.  The new homepage will most likely provide the biggest change for users. When users log in to the new homepage, they will be presented with a more organized site. The more popular content will appear on the homepage, and will show users recommended sites based on their interests.

The end goal for Stumbleupon is to present its visitors with a more user-friendly experience.  According to  reports, the Stumbleupon changes are  “geared at making sure the users have an easier time finding content they would be interested in and allows people to use the site without installing a toolbar”. Stumbleupon’s upgrade has long been anticipated and appears to be headed in the right direction.
