Businessweek.com and Linkedin Join Forces

One of the main components of maintaining a successful business is networking. The Internet has been a great tool for companies to keep in touch with their clients, prospects and contacts. One particular website, Linkedin.com, has gone one step further to create a professional networking site which connects business professionals.

It is no surprise then, that Businessweek.com and Linkedin would come together to optimize the professional networking experience. Linkedin’s Company Profile Feature allows users to review different companies. This feature may seem quite typical of a social networking site, but with Businessweek.com, users can now also see a business synopsis, which includes some company statistics and data as well as Linkedin’s profile.

Businessweek.com also added a feature that allows users to access their professional contacts on Linkedin. They can view companies featured in Businessweek.com articles as well.

Of course, these examples are only the beginning of the applications that will be available to those connected to Businessweek.com and Linkedin. There appears to be a lot of potential with this partnership that will enable businesses and business professionals to come together, build strong contacts and create more visibility for their companies.
