ClearSpring Reaching New Heights

May 28, 2009 by Marcel Media · Filed Under Social Media

It seems as though ClearSpring is gaining more and more traction with its innovative social media analytics. ClearSpring is keeping ahead by introducing an array of new functions and offerings, allowing for more options on what aspects of social media campaigns companies are able to track. Most recently, ClearSpring released a new API which lets developers have more flexibility with sharing embedded content such as YouTube videos.

ReadWriteWeb reports that, the “company says its reach has grown from 200 million combined monthly uniques in September when it acquired AddThis to 500 million today, a huge jump in 6 months. The new API could accelerate that growth even more”. How will ClearSpring use this data? “ClearSpring is analyzing the content on all the web pages it sees, as well as user intent in sharing content, and categorizing that information. And will soon make APIs available that allow developers to build trend analysis and recommendation services on top of at least some of the data”.
