Facebook Rolls out Fan Boxes

Those who are Facebook fan page administrators may have noticed a new addition to their pages. With the increased use of Facebook for businesses and organization, more and more users are looking to share their Facebook presence with the world. Facebook is simplifying this process by adding the feature of a widget-like tool for Fan pages—the fan box.

Fan boxes will allow fan page owners to stream their pages onto their main websites. Facebook generates a code and gives administrators the option of what to display on the stream (recent activity and fans, or just recent activity). There is also a button which lets website visitors become fans directly from the fan box.
